About Us

InternetBasedMoms.com was launched on May 16, 2002 out of the desire to help the growing work at home mom community. At the time, there were many sites with resources for work at home moms, but not so many that focus on the Internet side of mom's home based business. This is where Internet Based Moms filled a huge need.

Our goal is to provide moms with good information, free resources and an opportunity to network with each other. This is accomplished through a weekly newsletter, regular new content on the site and a partnership with WAHM Talk Radio. The site also includes forums and chat rooms where moms can find great advice and build strategic partnerships, all in a friendly environment.

Mila Sidman

Owner & Editor, Mila Sidman
Mila is the owner of Internet Based Moms. She took over the site in 2007 from the original creator Alice Seba. Mila runs the day to day operations and is the Editor of the weekly Internet Marketing Newsletter.

Mila is an American Ex-Pat now living in England with her husband and three children. She has been an entrepreneur for over 10 years, and is extremely grateful she can stay home with her children while running her online business. Her passion is helping other moms achieve their dream of working from home.

General Manager & Assistant Editor, Melody Spier
Melody, or "Mel" as we call her, and handles all the advertising sales; workshop and chat room scheduling; and is the Assistant Editor our weekly Internet Marketing Newsletter. If you have questions about our advertising opportunities or would like to create a unique promotions package, Mel is your "mom".

Mel works from her home in Tennessee which she shares with her husband and two teens. Her favorite pastimes include reading, gardening, quilting and relaxing near her Koi pond. One of her many goals is to help other women reach their dreams of working from home.

Annette Elton is a fantastic writer and handles a large part of the content creation for the site.

Annette lives in Colorado with her husband and two girls. She's been writing for most of her life and finds immense pleasure helping other WAHMs grow their business with great copy and information products. When she isn't tending to her family or writing for clients, you can find her rock climbing, snowboarding or screaming down a mountain on her bike.

Kit provides customer support and helps manage the forums.

Kit is a sassy southern belle and has been working from her Georgia home for four years. She is very family oriented and enjoys helping others build their family bonds. In her spare time, Kit volunteers, draws, writes, and teaches.

Loretta regularly adds content to the site and also helps out on the forums.

Loretta and her husband have four little boys ranging in age from 6 to 10. She has been a full time WAHM since 2000 in various fields from document coding to blog design and virtual assisting.

When she's not helping others with their online projects or at one of her boys sports events you might find her working on a quilt or a cross stitch project.

Kelly McCausey is the host of Work at Home Moms Talk Radio, a weekly internet radio show and podcast that Internet Based Moms is proud to sponsor.

Kelly is a single mom to one sixteen year old son and lives in beautiful Gaylord, Michigan. She made the leap to full time WAHM in early 2006 and loves to coach work at home moms to have more successful and profitable businesses so that they can stay home full time and enjoy being a mom to their children.

Linda is in charge of the Direct Sales Directory and maintaining company listings.

Linda works from her home in Massachusetts which she shares with her husband and teenage son. She is an active volunteer at her son's school and when she can find the time, enjoys needlework and paper crafts.
