Diane utilizes Public Relations to promote her business regularly and we asked her how this has affected her business and if she had any advice:

"Recently, one press release to a national talk radio show resulted in a huge soar in site visitors and sales - and it didn't cost me a penny. My advice would be to get creative. Come up with a unique way to promote your business or a new angle in which to promote it and showcase it in professionally looking and well written press release. Then target that release to relevant media."

Diane and KinderSigns has been featured in various media, including The New York Post, The Orlando Sentinel, Arizona Republic, The London Observer, The Sunday Times of London, The Manchester (UK) Evening News, The Scotsman (Edinburgh) , The Irish Examiner and the Irish Star. She has been a guest on Ireland AM and BBC radio and television. She has also appeared on radio talk shows in the US, Ireland and the UK.

Diane often lectures at colleges, hospitals, libraries, community centers and child development conferences. She also runs training workshops for parents, grandparents, teachers and community organizations and provides in-service training for childcare providers.

Diane Ryan is currently living in Ireland where she is introducing the concept of baby signing to parents and educators in that country as well as in the U.K. She and her husband Bob will return to the United States at the end of June 2003.
