Interview with Nicole Clifton of WYIM: With Your in Mind

WYIM officially went online about six months ago with http://www.wyim-withyouinmind.com. This site and its sister site http://www.wyim-withyouinmind.com/babyshowers has been completely designed and maintained by Nicole.

Nicole has chosen a thrifty method to promote her site, which has proven to be successful. She promotes her site through the use of meta tags, link exchanges, classified sites, publishing articles and sponsoring contests. She hopes to begin publishing a newsletter, but hasn't found the time in her busy schedule, which is often interrupted due to illness.

Nicole makes sure that family is the number one priority. TV will never be a babysitter for her little girl and Nicole takes care to limit her daughter's TV time. Her daughter watches a few favorite PBS shows and Nicole sneaks in a moment to return phone calls, process orders and check her email. Dinner is always family time and the whole family gets together to talk about their day and every week they have family fun day. This means they go to see a movie they've been waiting to see, go on a picnic and fishing at the part - whatever they want.

"Working on our business gives me the creative outlet and people interaction I was missing from being home and ill," says Nicole. In the future, Nicole plans to focus on growing the business through many inventive and cost effective marketing techniques to include designing, promoting and distributing a Calendar for Moms by Moms who work from home. We wish Nicole the best of luck in all her endeavors.
