Flickr or PhotoBucket?

Postby DianaWalker on Sat Jan 05, 2008 2:12 pm

I'm not in the "just getting started" category, but I am only learning now how to easily have a photo to upload to my Profile.

In the past, I have uploaded the URL from my own computer, but when Mila told me to upload a URL from my website, that was not working for me (I don't use FrontPage, I use an Easy Website Builder, and it wasn't working in there.)

Anyway, I have had a Flickr account for some time now, and was thinking I could use that, but it did not seem apparent or easy to me on how to do that.

I had heard of PhotoBucket before but had never gone in there to use it, but Jen recommended it to me this morning.

It is so easy to use, and I'm enjoying it. I put the URL in to get the photo here, in my Profile.

Mila - is that photo too big? Then I have to figure out how to resize it, if so - please let me know...

Also, I'm interested to know other people's input on Comparisons between Flickr and PhotoBucket -- because they do seem to have differences in features.

I love helping people go from craving junk food to craving healthy food!

I have everything stored on photobucket. I have photos and banners and just all kinds of odds and ends. I find it very easy to use.

I use both. Flickr I use for picture pictures and Photobucket I use for graphics and images and screenshots for stuff that I am blogging about.

I'm lost on how to use flickr. It's really easy to resize on photobucket. I've done it before. The picture I have on my profile was resized by it.

I've always used PhotoBucket. And you can resize photos right inside of photobucket.
