IBM and Your Mojo

Postby SharonMcMillan on Sun Jan 25, 2009 8:07 pm

This has been a really cold winter for us and it's playing with my mojo. I had a lot of work to do today but had difficulty getting going. I think I was really missing some good outdoor activity.

I tried to get some endorphins going by getting on the treadmill but that was absolutely no fun.

I had work to do but still needed some inspiration. I ended up taking a look at the IBM newsletter Mel posted above, and I got the mojo back I needed to get some work done. The blogging tips were much appreciated as blogging was on my to do list today.

Let's help each other out and highlight some of our favorite IBM resources that help to inspire or give us that kick in the butt we need to get to work :)

Where is the IBM newsletter? I can't seem to find it. Could you point me in the right direction? I could always use some inspiration, too! :D

Congrats on getting your mojo back. ;)

Hi Kelly, the current newsletter is always here http://www.internetbasedmoms.com/current-news.html

I have to say, Jan is always a tough month for me too. Getting out for walks does help A LOT... it's tough to get out there when it's cold or rainy but it makes a difference and helps clear the mind (at least it does for me!).

I recently dug my rebounder out, it's great for short boogie breaks to get my blood pumping :)

The SEO resources at IBM have always been my favorite :)

Loretta I'm not Kelly but I can tell you what a rebounder is. It's a mini trampoline (and when I say mini I mean mini LOL) and it has a handlebar on it that you hang onto and you just jump around.
At least that's my impression of one and how I used it when I used Kelly's before :-)

I have been having major cabin fever lately. Michigan winters are no fun and I tend to hibernate as much as I possibly can but it's really getting to me now. I'm going stir crazy! It's been warm the last couple days but it's too icky to get out and walk in.

Anyways my favorite resource is the Blogging stuff http://www.internetbasedmoms.com/blogging-rss/index.html
