Opt out of Twitter automated DMs

Postby ChristineG on Mon May 18, 2009 11:33 pm

Some of you may be aware of this, but I wanted to give you a heads up
in case you use Twitter and were bombarded with automated direct
messages. These are the canned messages that can clutter up your
Twitter DM box and say things like "Hi! Thanks 4 following! U should
check out _____.com where u can get 2,000,000 Twitter followers in 2
hrs!!"

:) I was a bit tired of these so I went to Tweetlater.com and opted
out of receiving the automated ones. I still get the DMs that are
meant for me only and are not automatically sent to everyone who
follows a specific person. (Some of them were SO irrelevant. :))

It works great.

Here's the link: tweetlater.com/optout You don't need to
sign up for a TweetLater account to do this.

Found this a little bit back, I like it a lot. Haven't used the tweet later option in a while though but use the other perks to make it easier.
