fundraising 4 everyone- scam

Postby Leah on Thu Dec 27, 2007 12:44 am

I had a disastrous experience with this company- they hired me on a base pay plus commission (they're telemarketing to schools). At the end of my first week, I got an email that base pay had been cancelled for everyone, including for time already worked. The next day, the two managers quit, and one sent an apology en masse for being unable to force the owner to pay salaries. It sounded like more money was owed that just that week. Best of luck!

Nell I am so glad you shared this list with everyone here, hopefully it will save MANY people just starting out a lot of pain and heartache. As well I want to add no matter what ALWAYS research any company that you are considering...ALWAYS. When I first started out trying to find work at home jobs gosh almost 9 years ago, I got scammed twice. One is on your list and CAN'T believe they are still running. Anyway, I wanted to share! I bounced back, found helpful resources such as Internet Based Moms and other valuable WAHM sites that gave me guidance in the right direction.

Keep up the good work Nell.
