What's Your Source?

Do you have a cd of something that puts you in a positive frame of mind? It could be the cd of a motivational speaker, your kids reading from a joke book, soothing sounds (i.e. nature sounds) etc.

What a great question. As I think about it, the answer is no. I really enjoy the oldies. I can very often listen to oldies and have my mood change. I can feel a smile come across my face as I hear words from my own childhood in some songs.

Like Audrey, classic rock music that I grew up listening to gets my blood pumping and I feel more energized.

Ditto! Classic rock is an energizer!

My dog also puts me in a positive frame of mind as does a nice sunny day.

I really like 'The Secret'

whenever I read it or watch it, (I have both the book and dvd  )

I am constantly reminded of why I'm doing what I am and quickly
enthused and refreshed to keep going.

For me it is Mary J. Blige and Jill Scott. These are two women who do their thing with no shame and they do it well.

They sing about in their music and that motivates me.

It's 80's classics for me to wake me up before I go-go  or Neo-Soul to soothe the spirit and relax my mind!
