Do you have a Virtual Assistant?

Postby soapin'Angela on Fri Jun 15, 2007 9:35 am

I'm doing some research and I would LOVE to get about 100 votes on here if possible.

So I just wanna know, do you have a Virtual Assistant?

Feel free to post your comments on using a VA or why you haven't or dont' want to :)

Yes, I have 4 and couldn't do without them. It's so important to get help with your business.... I really can't stress that enough. Had I not learned to outsource early on I would probably still be struggling to build my business.

I'm so busy being a VA for everyone else that I don't have time for my own things so I have a girl who helps me. She doesn't consider herself a VA, but she's a darn good assistant!

I don't have a need for one at the moment, but would definitely get one if I get to that point. I'm wondering, do they have virtual babysitters? LOL

No I don't. As a VA I never thought of outsourcing to another VA but one of my clients is a VA herself so I guess it isn't as uncommon as I thought.

I've been thinking of hiring a VA myself, and I think it would be a really great idea as a VA to see the other side of outsourcing. Besides that, I know it would be a great way to keep growing my business :)

I have not yet. Although I do hire out graphic work, programming, and also many other work in my offline consulting biz.

The basic stuff I try to automate as much as possible. Email I set up autoresponders and use outlook rules and different accounts to sort and file automatically.

I have used some auto-blogging programs in the past, but nothing that works just like I want. That is the biggest thing that I get behind at.

What is auto-blogging? I've never heard of that. Though my blog is the one thing I don't think I'd ever outsource (at least not my main blog) because I want all the content to be from me.

Rita, Yes it's so true we can't do everything by ourselves. I know at some point I want to have a VA helping me with my business marketing as well as have some VAs that I work with as backups for each other. :)

Yes ma'am, I work with 4 different VAs on a weekly/monthly basis and have worked with others on an irregular basis.

auto-blogging

An auto-blogging script will make your blog posts for you at pre-determined times. These are especially useful if you are using plr content, or other content that you have purchased as blog content. Since you have it 'pre-made' you can load it and have it post once a day, or three times a week, basically whatever rate you want.

I tried it out on a blog where I wanted to post some old articles I had written in the past.

I haven't used it in a while.

If I was going to hire a VA for some general tasks - where is the best place to find a good one?

Thanks
