Cyberspace Baby offers parenting advice and unique products especially for babies. This business is run solely online. Many of the products are provided by work at home moms and Chris assists moms by helping them sell their baby products online.

Storkville USA is a baby announcement sign rental company. These 7 foot storks help parents, grandparents and other proud relatives announce the arrivals of their bundles of joy. This business is run locally, but her website has created interest in her business and inspired Chris to offer her business opportunity to others across the USA. This Greater Houston, TX business has recently expanded to Greater Tampa, FL and will soon be moving to Charlotte, NC, Baltimore, MD and San Antonio, TX.

When doing business on the Internet, Chris says it is important to look and, more importantly, be legitimate. There are so many scams on the Internet, you need to set yourself apart. Chris also attributes her online success to networking with other sites. This can be done by exchanging links or partnering with other related sites.

Chris is her own web designer, but credits her husband with teaching her everything she knows and for troubleshooting for her. Chris also thanks her family for giving her complete support in her ventures. Her husband is always willing to lend a helping hand and Chris is always careful to include her two children, aged 13 months and 3 years, in her working day. Chris and her children take trips to the post office together and make Stork deliveries.

Chris does not claim that balancing a home based business and a family are a breeze. She is careful to schedule times that are not for work. For example, Chris's family will be on a relaxing mini-vacation by the beach for the Labor Day weekend when this article is published. All her work can wait until she returns.

Above all, success in a home based business takes passion, says Chris. Choose a business doing something you love, she urges. You will have to work hard. Success does not come overnight, but if you have passion for what you are doing, it will all be well worth it.

When asked if she had any words of advice to her fellow Internet based moms, she says, "Prioritize your day. Decide what tasks have to be done that day, no matter what, and use the rule of half. You'll only get half of the 'Must Get Done List' actually accomplished. Learn to live with the limitations you have before you, and enjoy the flexibility that being a work-at-home mom gives you."
