Laga Handbags consultants sell handcrafted embroidered handbag and travel bags and beaded handbags at home parties.

Consultants earn 50% commission on their sales. There is no monthly minimum sales requirement and no recruiting. Consultants choose from three starter kits starting at $499.

The privately owned company is headquartered in Irvine, California and the bags are handcrafted in Indonesia by survivors of the 2004 earthquake and tsunami.

Upon returning from his relief work in Indonesia, Roy van Broekhuizen and his wife Louise founded Laga Designs International to provide employment for victims of the tsunami. The founders do not take a salary from the company. All revenue remaining after expenses is used to train, employ, and sometimes house and feed tsunami survivors.
