How often you mail out your ezine is up to you.
Some
are mailed monthly, some weekly, etc. I would suggest until you get comfortable
as an ezine publisher, twice a month would be fine. As soon as you feel ready,
move it up to once a week.
Autoresponder - Autoresponders are simply programs that "respond"
automatically when they receive an email by sending a pre-written email message
back. You can set up several messages to be mailed at certain intervals
automatically. A favorite of many publishers because you are able to send out
several follow-ups:

Email Server>
- When you are first starting using your email server is an easy and inexpensive
way to mail our your newsletter.
Mailing List Manager - After your list
grows, I recommend you purchase an easy and effective mailing list manager.
Try:
Infacta
Post
Master
Web Host -
When you buy your domain, you may also get a mailserver from which you can send
out your ezine. Your subscribe address would be something like:
mailto:newsletter-subscribe@myowndomain.com
Yahoo and Topica, etc - Free mailing list managers
like these are a good way to get started on a tight budget. The price for these
free services is sometimes a banner or other ads are placed on the top of your
ezine when it is mailed out. Also, you have to deal with their technical
problems and sometimes lack of support.
