Apology Gift Baskets to Say I'm Sorry

We can all hurt someone else’s feelings at times.  It builds a wall between two people.  Break down that wall by being the first to give an apology gift basket.

Apologies require two words:  I’m sorry.  There is no hard and fast rule about how these two words are communicated.  We often think of the obvious which is verbally communicating them, but sometimes, other methods are best.

An apology gift basket doesn’t have to be large.  We are not trying to cover up what went wrong but admitting we made a mistake or went too far and want to make amends.  A simple gift shows will convey our sincerity. 

Find a basket that is simple but reflects the style of the recipient.  Maybe they like dark colors or flowery things.  Choose a basket that fits the bill or decorate it to meet their expectations.  Silk flowers can stick through the gaps in the basket and intertwine around it.  Inside, the excess space can be filled with strips of decorative paper.

How would you express an apology?  Write a letter to the offended person.  Express how you feel and that you want to stop the ill feelings.  If you can’t put into words what you want to say, search for a greeting card to fit the bill.  Sometimes they can express our feelings better than we can.

Record a message.  Some greeting cards allow you to do that.  Another thought is a picture frame with recording capabilities.  Add a picture of the two of you in happier times to go along with the apologetic message.

Pick put something that the person likes and include it in an apology basket.  It could be a plant, a piece of artwork, a stuffed animal, a book, or any number of things.  Use your knowledge of the person to come up with a great gift they would enjoy having. 

An apology gift basket calls a truce.  Don’t forget to raise the white flag.  Situate the white flag in the basket where they won’t be likely to miss it. 

An apology basket says “I’m sorry” in word and thoughtfulness.  Including a personal gift requires effort on your part to find something that will please the recipient.
