Basketball Players Gift Basket

So what is your favorite sport? If it’s basketball or you know someone who adores basketball, for their birthday this year, fix up a sports basket they will love. Here are some ideas for a gift basket for basketball players.

It seems that those who are into a particular sport can’t seem to have too many of anything. That goes for the basketball player as well. The centerpiece of any basketball player’s gift basket will be the basketball.

If there is a local college team they like, see if you can get some of the team members to sign the ball. An NBA ball with the logo of their favorite team on it works also. This will either be a trophy ball or one they will use to practice with.

Basketball players sweat a lot. They are always in need of gear to practice in. How about a couple of jerseys? If you get the jerseys, don’t forget the shorts.

One thing that basketball players like to do is practice all the time. Even when they are lying in the bed doing homework, they think about the ball. How about a mountable hoop that they can put over the door? Whenever they get bored they can shoot a few hoops.

What else do basketball players like to do? They like to watch games on television. Include a few snacks like popcorn or corn chips for them to eat and share with buddies during the big game.

Basketball players also like to play basketball rain or shine. In the rain they can play the latest version of NBA Live for Xbox. Throw in a copy that is compatible with the gaming system they have at home. If they have a Wii game console, it’ll be just like playing on the court. The Wii is a great system for interactive play that gives you a good workout.

Basketball is a sport that kids and adults like to play. If you know a budding player, a gift basket filled with goodies would be right up their alley. With all of this stuff, you may need a bigger basket.
