Advertise in the Yellow pages. Give out business cards to friends, family, and business associates. Keeping mileage records for tax purposes ensures that all of your business expenses are accounted for.

Online, visit legal websites and websites that advertise other home businesses. Since you won’t be directly competing with these other home based businesses, you could enter into affiliate programs or cooperative business arrangements that will benefit both you and them. Your services can be advertised to anyone needing documents for notarization.
