Ice Cream Lover's Gift Basket

On a nice hot day, ice cream will cool you down in a sweet way. It is a cool dessert that has found a place in society. When Baskin-Robbins came out with their 31 flavors, people thought that they had died and gone to ice cream heaven. Create a gift basket with this cold confection at the center for the person who can’t resist it.

I know someone who absolutely loves ice cream. They would eat it every night if they could. With gourmet ice cream shops opening up, ice cream has hit a new high. Not only do you have the cold treat but you also have a variety of things that can be added to make it taste even better.

You can create an ice cream parlor in your gift basket. Now, you can’t include ice cream in the gift basket for obvious reasons, but you can add everything that goes with it. For the ice cream, stick in a gift card to their favorite ice cream shop or a little cash they can use to buy their favorite tub of ice cream.

Let’s see, ice cream is good with hot fudge, caramel, or strawberry topping. Put all three in the basket. How about nuts? My dad always enjoys those walnuts in heavy syrup that are made by Smucker’s. Add some different things so the ice cream lover can have a party.

When I was little, my mom has an old-fashioned ice cream maker. She would make fresh vanilla ice cream for us in the summertime. That is a tradition that can be reinstated for the ice cream lover and their family.

Get one of those ice cream makers for your special person. Use it as the basket if you want to. Fill the tub with the items they will need to run the ice cream maker. Any cold items can be packaged separately in a little basket that is right for the refrigerator. Top it all off with a bow.
