Search eBay to find other artists who are successfully selling their work. Look at:

- the categories they list in
- auction titles and descriptions
- starting bids and bidding trends
- what days their auctions start and end; how long they run their auctions for

All the above factors will affect the success of your auction. Through your research, you may discover that there really isn't a market for your current art from. If you're a versatile artist, keep searching until you find a market that is appealing to you and reflects your artistic talent.

Sure eBay already has a huge market of buyers waiting to buy your art, but there's plenty you can do to promote your own auctions. here's just a few ideas:
