Spa Day Gift Basket

What is the one thing we want to do after a hard day? Soothe those tired muscles. A massage would work if we had the money and the time to spend. With a spa gift basket someone who works hard gets the chance to slow down and recharge those batteries whenever they need to.

For spa items, get the biggest basket you can find. Spa apparel, such as robes and slippers, take up a lot of room in a basket and you’ll want space for other things. The classic color for spa days is white so start with a fuzzy terry cloth spa robe and some soothing slippers. Instead of the regular bunnies, try a pair of those massaging slippers.

Who gets to take a tub bath anymore? You can give that opportunity to someone with a supply of bath salts, bubble bath in assorted scents, a bath head cushion, and loofah sponges. With the proper equipment, we would gladly take the time to splurge on ourselves.

Maybe you have some back pain. A hot stone treatment does wonders for the back. Add a stone kit to the basket. The best part about this is that it can be used over and over.

At spas they serve some type of refreshment as you enjoy your visit. Include a sturdy tea cup along with a variety of herbal teas. As the body soaks in the bubbles, the mind can relax as well with a cup of chamomile or peppermint.

These are a few ideas to fill that special basket. You don’t have to use all of the ideas for one basket. Save a few for yourself or to create another basket for a friend.

Decorating this basket is not necessary. But if you do, string a few accessories along the basket handle. Some accessories: an eye mask, a head wrap, or a pair of socks.

A spa basket makes an excellent gift for working professionals, tired moms, and tired dads as well. If you know someone who has a hard time getting away from it all, this would be a perfect gift. Many gifts don’t get used but this one will get used up to the last bath salt.
