Thank You
Thank You Gift Basket
There are people in our lives who do so much for us. They act
unselfishly to give us what we need in our time of need. These are
the people that don’t need thank you's from us but we want to
acknowledge their sacrifice and love. For those special ones, a
thank you gift basket is the best way to show our gratitude.
Who do you want to say thank you to? If it is someone that you know
well, provide them with something that they want or need. This will
take a bit of doing to find out that information without then find
out about you. Above all, we want the gift basket to be a surprise.
You don’t need a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary to
give a thank you basket. It is appropriate all year round. Fill it
with love in the form of items the recipient will cherish.
The first thing that can go in is a medal. This person has
sacrificed for the betterment of another. Have it inscribed with a
nice saying and their name. Hang the medal across the handle of the
basket so it is the first thing they see.
What does this person like to do or what do they need. Maybe they
gave up dinner with a spouse or other plans to be with you when you
were ill. Surprise them with gift certificates to their favorite
restaurant or a ticket created by you entitling them to a gourmet
dinner at your house whenever they don’t feel like cooking.
How about some flower? Silk flowers last longer and can be spritzed
with fragrance to make them smell all year around. A carefully
arranged bouq2uet in a lead crystal vase can adorn their table or
mantle.
Cards say what we would like to if we could put the words of our
heart down on paper. To keep the memory fresh in their minds, use a
talking picture frame complete with a picture of a time when you
were together having fun. Include a message that tells them how much
you appreciate what they have done for you.
A thank you gift basket is not given often enough to those we care
about. The person helping you may not ask for anything but it is our
willingness to give them a gift that makes all the difference.
