Creating a Wedding Gift Basket
That special day when two people say that they will love each other
forever deserves a celebration. Love is one of the things that keep
us hoping and believing for a better tomorrow. Going through life
with someone to share it with is twice as sweet a journey. Give that
new couple a basket filled with goodies to celebrate their love.
Wedding gift baskets are fun to put together. There are so many
ideas that can be used to decorate and fill the basket. Now that the
two are one, the items in the basket are for both people instead of
one or the other.
Monogrammed additions offer that personal touch to the gift basket.
It could be a set of wedding champagne flutes with their names and
the wedding date etched on them. Or, give a set of monogrammed
towels or napkins. These are all predictable gifts but ones that
will turn a house into a home for the two lovebirds.
If your imagination knows no bounds, put it to the test. Give the
couple a gift certificate for a day of flying in an airplane. Let
them sore above the clouds like free birds. Speaking of flying, a
hot air balloon ride for two is more leisurely and just as
breathtaking.
A couple that collects art would appreciate pieces that involve two
figures together embracing. Paintings of love in bloom would also
impress them. Hire an artist and turn a favorite photo of the two
into an artist’s rendition that they can display over their mantle.
This is something that no one else can give them. It may be hard to
fit in a gift basket, but then the basket doesn’t have to be a
regular basket. Use a little red wagon decorated with tissue paper
and bells to pull in the portrait.
Wedding couples don’t always need store bought gifts. They will
receive plenty of toasters, towels, furniture, and other trinkets.
Someone who has been a friend to the couple for a long time can
showcase their walk down lover’s lane with a scrapbook of
memorabilia. Immortalize funny sayings, situations, and photos of
good times past.
We cry at weddings because we are happy for the couple. They have
found each other. Let them know how much you support their new life
with a gift basket tailored for their future together.
