I've been busy reviewing this product that will be
available to the public on June 28, 2005. Let me tell you
a bit about what's included:
- Complete User Guide (in print and on CD-rom):
You might think it funny that I mention there's a user
guide because all products should have one. Well, it's
rare to see one this thorough and step-by-step these
days. Jason not only teaches you how to use the
software, but ensures that you are writing the best
articles possible in the process.
The only problem with the User Guide is you will need to
be operating on a Windows system to view the videos (or to
use the software).
- Article Announcer Software: If you've ever
avoided submitting articles to directories or
announcement lists because it's too time-consuming,
this software can help you change that. The software
streamlines the process of (this is not an exhaustive
list):
- Submitting
to article directories
- Submitting to article
announcements lists
- Automatic word
counts
- Article formatting
- Checking keyword density
- Spam check to help your
articles get through spam filters
- Keeping track of your
submissions
The software is simple to use and with the
help of the user guide, I was able to work through any
problems that I had. The only feature I thought people
should use with caution (although, I believe Jason will
disagree with me) is the formatting of your articles to 65
characters. It's not a serious thing and you don't have to
format your articles...it is simply an option with the
software.
I don't format mine because many people
publish articles on their websites (which is good for
search engine traffic) and they don't need the 65
character formatting (and in my experience, many of these
people don't know how to remove the formatting). Also,
people who prefer the 65 character format generally know
how to format an existing article to fit their
specifications - it only takes them a second.
Just my thoughts on the subject. Again,
it's not a big deal. Different directories, submissions
lists and specific publishers have guidelines on
formatting, so always check those first.
Also, you will have to go through the
software and decide which directories and lists are
appropriate for your article submissions. This will be
time consuming on the first round, but once you've
complete this once, you'll have your highly targeted
submission list ready for use over and over again.
- Article Blueprint - 4
Hours with Jason Potash & John Reese
To me, this is worth the price of
admission. Jason & John recorded over 4 hours of article
writing; traffic and lead generation; and article
distribution. The recording comes on 4 CDs, plus the
complete transcripts are provided for easy reference (or
if you prefer to read).
Just a Few of the Topics
Covered are:
- How to write articles
that help generate leads and sales
- Getting more search
engine traffic from your articles
- How to avoid the pitfalls
of search engine optimization and
maintaining steady search engine traffic
