Hello,

It seems like there's a resurgence in questions about blogging. Just over a year ago (or maybe it's longer...I can't remember anymore!), it seemed that online marketing moms were really getting into blogging.

A lot of those great blogs that were set up, soon fizzled out and sadly became part of the Internet graveyard. Why did this happen?

Of course, I don't know the specific reasons of each blog, but from talking to other moms, here's some of the possibilities:

1. The blog didn't seem to increase business.

2. There was a shortage of ideas on what to write about.

3. The traffic didn't come fast enough.

But that doesn't mean blogs don't work as business builder. You might just need a new approach to your blogging.

If you didn't already know, my "Alice FAQ" has a special section dedicated to blogging. There's just a few articles there right now, but they answer some of the most important questions about blogging, including:

1. Should I start a blog or a message board?
2. How can my blog make me an expert?
3. Blog vs. mailing list content.
4. What should I blog about?
5. How do I drive traffic to my blog?

Check it out at:

And remember, if you have any questions, check out the Promoting & Developing Your Business forum at the message boards. There's lots of great questions already answered about blogging or feel free to ask your own:

To your blogging success!

WAHM Talk Radio Notes from Kelly

Alana Morales, Author and Co-Host of Mom Writer's Talk Radio joins me to talk about her decision to become a stay at home Mom after the birth of her second child and about her new book. Any Mom who has ever felt unqualified for her stay at home role will love getting her hands on Domestically Challenged.

Gayle Buske, the President and CEO of Team Double-Click, Inc is here to tell us about how her company can help more Moms work from home as a Virtual Assistant. If you like the idea of being a VA but shy away from setting up your own business, this could be a good option for you.
