With most direct sales opportunities, you can work either part-time or full-time and set your work schedule to suit the needs of your family. Many moms use direct sales as a way to earn extra money. They may throw a few sales parties a month and promote the products to friends and family. Other moms have gone on to build wildly successful businesses and worked their way up to senior status with a company.

With direct sales, like any other business, you will get back what you’re prepared to put into it. You can build a very profitable business by working hard and really treating it like a business, with the added benefit that you have the safety net of the company you work for.

PartyLite® and Two Sisters Gourmet™ parent company Blyth Inc. reported 4th quarter net sales of nearly $380 million, a figure nearly the same as last year's 4th quarter sales. The company's strongest markets were international sales and catalog and Internet sales.
