A Note From Mila
Hi,
I
hope you had a great weekend. Mine was filled with Birthday parties and lots of
other "running around"... Remember the days when weekends were actually
relaxing? Actually, we did get to relax a little on Sunday night watching the
new season of stars skating on ice... my secret dream career has always been
figure skating! ;-)
Today
we have a few more interviews in the member's area to tell you about. Patrysha,
recently interviewed Lynette Chandler on options for conference rooms, which I
found very helpful! And there's also a great interview with Roy Montero about
blogging...
And
if you missed last week's interview with Dr. Ken Evoy, you'll find that in there
too along with all the transcripts.

Our
forums are also buzzing this week so why not stop by and say hello? I'm around
daily so I look forward to seeing you there. Have a great week!
Please scroll down and read about all the latest happenings in the work at home
mom community, featured article and special mom offers.
Wishing you much
success,

5 Ways to Demonstrate Credibility
By Mila Sidman
Credibility is an important component for persuasive online copy. Here are 5
quick tips to demonstrate your credibility in your copy.
-
State your credentials. How many years have you been in business?
How many employees do you have? What are your annual revenues? Do you have
multiple locations? Have you won any awards? Are you a member of any
professional organizations? Do you have a large number of subscribers?
Have you been covered by a major publication or media outlet? Steer clear
of presenting a resume; pick and choose which credentials are most relevant
and important to your customer.
-
Testimonials and reviews. A customer selling your product or service
is worth its weight in gold. Testimonials and reviews count. To make the
most of this valuable tool, ask for specific testimonials. For example,
“Jane’s marathon training book improved my running time overnight. I went
from a 12 minute mile to a 9 minute mile effortlessly.” Additionally,
testimonials and reviews from celebrities or experts in the industry hold
more value than a testimonial from someone.
-
Show them who you are. Pictures of you give your reader a reference
and a personal connection. As a customer, it is nice to know you’re dealing
with a real person.
-
Give them the facts. In your sales copy, if you can cite specific
facts it will help to strengthen your copy. For example, “…this book has
helped more than 1000 loving dog owners successfully eliminate undesirable
behaviors in as little as one day.”
-
Compare results for greater impact and build credibility at the same time.
“Dog trainers who don’t use my system typically spend three months house
training their dog. Using my system you’ll have your dog trained in two
weeks. Guaranteed.”
Credibility is important to your customers. It helps them trust you and the
products or services you’re pitching. Be kind and give them a few solid reasons
you’re the one to trust. Your sales and your bottom line will reap the
benefits.
