Hi, Mila here. I hope you had a great weekend. This week is my first official solo newsletter for Internet Based Moms and it feels a little strange! As you may know, I have taken over the site from Alice Seba. Alice has helped many moms in the online business community (me included), and I’m looking forward to following in her footsteps and adding new and exciting resources to the site.

I’ll be revealing one of those new additions next week and it’s still all very hush hush but stay tuned. You won’t want to miss this ;-)

Week in review

Soon, U.K. residents wishing to shop online will have the option to pay for purchases offline. PayOffline.com, the company behind this new idea says consumers who opt to pay offline will be provided with a 19-digit bar code which can be presented at any one of 17,000 payzones around the country. Once they pay for their purchase, the merchant will be notified and the product shipped.

What will this change mean for merchants worldwide? An increase in sales because there will be no need for consumers to have credit cards or give out personal banking information; they’ll be able to pay cash for their purchases.
