Business Etiquette - Quick Tips for Work at Home Moms
Email Etiquette
As a work-at-home, Internet-based mom, using email
to communicate with clients, customers and colleagues saves time,
not to mention it prevents them from hearing the commotion that is
often in the background. As such, the following are some
helpful etiquette precepts that have emerged in the email culture.
Always respond in a timely manner, keep it short
and don’t get emotional!
Keep it professional; without visual cues, the
receiver can often misinterpret the tone of an email.
Also, know when an email is appropriate.
The more serious the message, the less appropriate email becomes
as a medium.
