Inevitably, some of us awaken in the
morning and instead of getting up would rather put the
covers over our heads and go back to sleep.
But, we push ourselves to get out of
bed and begin the day’s tasks that await us.

Conversely, we may have been working around the
house all day and suddenly feel the need to stop. Or perhaps we are
working on a deadline at the office and by 3 o’clock, exhaustion
sets in.
There are natural pick-me-ups and motivators for every day use that
can reenergize and keep us on a steady keel. To start with, a carrot
and apple smoothie is a great way to start the morning and is a
wonderful booster during the afternoon hours as well.
Exercise, by far, is a great motivator which not only puts us in a
good mood, but reawakens our energy level so that we can continue
with whatever chores we have planned for the day. In fact, a brisk
walk during lunch hour can have an enormous effect on our mental and
physical well-being.
At home, you can pop a CD into the player and use the music to
motivate you to commencing spring cleaning. You may find that not
only is the music conducive to cleaning, but you may find yourself
dancing along to the music which is great exercise in and of itself.
Juice is also a great pick-me-up as well. This is especially true if
you feel sluggish which may be brought on by low sugar levels.
Having a glass of orange juice is recommended.
Another factor is that sometimes we work so hard, especially on hot
days when we become dehydrated. Drinking plenty of water is
essential when engaging in any form of exercise or as a matter of
keeping hydrated while attending to chores at home.
Whether it’s a fruit juice, smoothies, water, or exercise; the state
of our health and well-being can be maintained by utilizing whatever

be particularly effective.
