Sometimes, in addition to getting a bit of publicity, you might just
get paid for writing articles!
here's just few ideas
to get you started:
1. Offer your writing article services from your
website: Showcase some of your writing, so people can get to know
you style and areas of expertise. Many business owners are willing
to pay to have articles written for them, so that they have fresh
content targeted for their readers. Writer's charge anywhere from
$50 to over $300 for an article.
2. Submit your articles for consideration in
newspapers, trade journals, magazines, etc: Always check the
submission guidelines and submit appropriately. Wear your thick skin
and be prepared for rejection, but don't get discouraged and keep
submitting your work. Generally, it will be easier to get published
in smaller publication, but the pay may be lower. Assignments can
pay as little as a few dollars to several hundred.
3. Join a few freelance writer's groups or message
boards: It's always a great idea to benefit from the knowledge of
experienced freelance writers. You can even share leads and tips of
getting paid for writing articles. Check
Yahoo Groups or
search on your favorite search engine.
4. Write a book or an ebook: Write a book or ebook
compilation of your original articles.
